Interact with NPC over Keybind

It would be nice if there were a way to interact with an NPC using a keyboard shortcut for example, the F key. When I'm standing in front of an NPC, I could press the F key to open the dialogue window. The key could also be used for all interactions in general, such as picking up a quest collectible or looting an enemy.
